Ne/Re-văzut is a new media art project created by an interdisciplinary team consisting of Cinty Ionescu (research), Ioana Nicoară (visual), and Makunouchi Bento (sound design)– Valentin Toma and Felix Petrescu. The project consists of three digital installations based on oral history archives. The installations use sound, image, and animation, creating spaces where the visitor becomes the creator of meaning, reactivating personal stories and collective memory. "The Cherry Jam"
Inspired by the poem The Cherry Jam, written by Trifu Șoșdean, a resident of Uzdin, a village in Banat, Serbia. The poem becomes a call to love, love for the other, and love for the beauty of nature. In 2022, during a terribly hot summer, Timișoara actress Christine Cizmaș arrived in the Romanian village of Uzdin, Serbia. There, she began a friendship with Trifu Șoșdean, a local of Uzdin. Christine's explorations can be found in the Uzdinuz project, and her story with Trifu Șoșdean was written by the actress and published within the Cămine în Mișcare project, Chapters 20, 21. The visual of the augmented work The Cherry Jam was deeply inspired by the world painted by the residents of Uzdin, their fine observations of life and the surrounding nature, containing both realistic observations and a grace-filled state of their rural fantastic, richly adorned with its own symbolism, colorful and vivid like everything made by the villagers' hands, especially the women, creators of costumes. The residents of Uzdin gather around the painting in the most natural way: they socialize, paint their symbols, and significant moments in their lives. Art thus fulfills its ancestral role and the most important role it can have: it brings people together and speaks their truth. The 3D work I created honors the naive art of Uzdin, offering it a new interpretation and a new dimension, and I hope it will highlight the importance of art, in all its forms, in the everyday existence of societies, whether large and urban or small and rural." – Ioana Nicoară

"1956. The Poli Uprising"
"There was hustle, fury, and enthusiasm. Many spoke about the difficulties people faced or the danger of Soviet occupation. The discussion became increasingly categorical, with students booing. Among other things, there was a demand for the withdrawal of Russian troops from the country, their presence here being considered a real crime. Seven years were given to the one who demanded this." – a fragment from the interview used to create the 1956. The Poli Uprising installation. The installation recalls the student uprising at the Polytechnic University of Timișoara on October 30, 1956, when 4,000 students were heading toward the Faculty of Mechanics, hoping to resist the ideological juggernaut that threatened to kneel them. The audio fragment used for this work comes from an interview with Ioan Ciolac (b. 1935), conducted by Adrian Onică.

The Woman in Red
...Perhaps the American dream has always been a simple myth, a product of collective imagination, a mere extravagance staged by Scott Fitzgerald in The Great Gatsby. The story of Ana Cumpanaș from Comloșul Mare closely follows this scenario, a sensational and sensationalist path that crossed the Great Depression, finding its own legendary significance. The essence of her life, as it remains in the memory of others, is that legendary Sunday of July 22, 1934, when Ana, dressed in a red dress, facilitated the killing of the infamous bandit Dillinger in Chicago. The installation begins with a fragment from an interview with Vioara Grofșoreanu (b. 1910, Chicago) conducted by Smaranda Vultur.
