IdentitAR Feminin is a multidisciplinary augmented reality exhibition exploring feminine identity through digital art. Initiated and artistically coordinated by Ioana Nicoară—who also contributed with part of the animation and illustration—the project brought together a team of artists and developers to create interactive AR installations. The project was based on ten dramatic texts written by women authors on feminine identity. Through illustration, animation, sound, and AR, these texts were transformed into immersive digital experiences that invited the public to reflect on gender, memory, and representation. Presented in 2024 in cities such as Câmpulung Muscel, Sfântu Gheorghe, Suceava, Râmnicu Vâlcea, and at RADAR New Media Art Festival in Bucharest, IdentitAR Feminin activated theatres and non conventional spaces with layered, site-responsive artworks. By making digital art accessible outside traditional gallery settings, the project fostered inclusive dialogue around contemporary women's experiences. Funded by AFCN and developed through the Reniform platform.
